Out of an abundance of caution, Westgate Entertainment District has cancelled it’s annual fireworks show and celebration, in additional to a number of other cities around the valley according to AZ Central.
Other cities that still had plans for the 4th of July ended up cancelling with the new Arizona State executive order limiting events to less than 50 people through July 27, 2020.
“Arizonans should celebrate the 4th of July responsibly this weekend, including by staying home, avoiding larger gatherings, and wearing a mask if you do go out,”
