GLENDALE, ARIZONA — The Arizona Coyotes announced today that the team is partnering with Pepsi and Glendale Fire Fighter Charities to host a water drive on Monday, July 27 from 7:00 – 11:00 a.m. on the Westgate Plaza in front of Gila River Arena.
Pepsi, in support of the Arizona Coyotes Foundation, will be kicking off this event with a donation of 500 cases of Aquafina water. All water donations will be given to Hope for Hunger Phoenix Rescue Mission.
“We have been experiencing some incredibly high temperatures in the Valley the past month and many people are in desperate need for water to survive the heat,” said Coyotes President & CEO Xavier Gutierrez. “We are proud to partner with Pepsi and Glendale Fire Fighters Charities on this important water drive to provide essential hydration to those in need.”
Donations can be made by bringing cases of water to the drive-thru setup on Coyotes Blvd. Those donating are asked to remain in their cars and wear a mask while driving through. Traffic will enter on the west side (Sunset Blvd) and exit on the east side (Sunrise Blvd.) outside Gila River Arena.
Everyone who donates a case of water on July 27 will receive a Coyotes branded mask and car magnet while supplies last.
If fans are unable to visit the Westgate location, donations will be accepted at all nine Glendale fire stations from July 27 to August 2. Additionally, donations can be made online at arizonacoyotes.com/water.
