About Westgate Corner
Westgate Corner is one place where you can find out what’s happening in and around the Westgate Entertainment District in Glendale, Arizona, including State Farm Stadium home to the Arizona Cardinals football team, Gila River Arena home to the Arizona Coyotes hockey team, and the new Desert Diamond Casino. Local insight from those of us who call it home!
Westgate Corner is the idea of a nosey-Italian mother living in the area, who always wants to know what is going on. The information for State Farm Stadium, Gila River Arena and Westgate is all on separate sites and social media, so Westgate Corner was born!
We want to do our part to help our local friends and businesses keep going strong! If you are a local business owner in the area, let us know how we can help you! Thank you for visiting and sign up to receive our posts by email or join our email list for any special offers, events and updates!
About the Girl on the Corner
I am a nosey-Italian Mother who lives at a place on a corner in the Westgate area! I’ve been in Glendale, Arizona the better part of the last 20 years and I worked in a live event industry for many years myself. I love family, sports and cars!
This is not the first time I’ve had a site like this. Back when we had the first Super Bowl at State Farm Stadium (U of P), I had a Super Bowl Blog about all the local happenings that got some traction and was a lot of fun connecting people. Sadly, the Super Bowl came and went, and my site ran its course. (Although it is ready for our next Arizona Super Bowl!)
I decided to build something more around the community that could be more helpful not only for myself but for everyone! So I’m glad you are here and I’m optimistic about the future!
