About Westgate Corner
Westgate Corner is one place where you can find out what’s happening in and around the Westgate Entertainment District in Glendale, Arizona, including State Farm Stadium home to the Arizona Cardinals football team, Desert Diamond Arena (previously known as Gila River Arena), and the new Desert Diamond Casino.
Westgate Corner is the result of a nosey-Italian mother living in the area, always wanting to know what is going on! The information for State Farm Stadium, Desert Diamond Arena and Westgate AZ is all on separate sites and social media, so Westgate Corner was created to organize the information into one place and make it easier to find.
We want to do our part to help support our local friends and businesses, now more than ever! If you are a local business owner in the area, let us know how we can help you!
Thank you for visiting and sign up to receive our posts by email and join our email list for any special offers, events and updates!
About the Girl on the Corner
I truly am a nosey-Italian Mother who lives at a place on a corner in the Westgate area! I’ve been in Glendale, Arizona the better part of the last 20 years and I have worked in a live event industry for many years myself. I love family, sports and cars!
Back when we had the first Super Bowl at State Farm Stadium (U of P), I had a Super Bowl Blog about all the local happenings that got some traction and was a lot of fun connecting people. Sadly, the Super Bowl came and went, and my site ran its course.
Deciding to build something more around the community, that could be used to connect us all and help support local businesses, Westgate Corner was born. So we’re glad you are here and we are optimistic about the future!
